Sonnegg — known to many simply as Läbeshuus — has been a place of hospitality since 1905. To keep it that way, we depend on support. Renovating the historic house, caring for the building, hosting guests on small budgets — all of it costs, and we want to keep doing it honestly.
How to donate
Donations to the Läbeshuus run through the “The Living” project of the Stichting Fameless Heroes Foundation. The project supports, among other things, the preservation of Sonnegg / Läbeshuus and hospitality initiatives around the house.

Frequently asked questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Donations via Stichting Fameless Heroes Foundation are generally deductible — in the Netherlands through ANBI status, in Switzerland depending on the canton. We send a donation receipt on request.
What percentage goes directly to the project?
The foundation runs with minimal overhead. At least 90% of every donation flows directly into the “The Living” project — the preservation of Sonnegg / Läbeshuus and our hospitality initiatives.
Can I donate to a specific project?
Yes. If you want to support, for example, the renovation of a specific room, a stay for a family with limited means, or a kitchen acquisition — we’d be glad to discuss it personally. Write to info@sonnegg.swiss.
How does a recurring donation work?
On the foundation page you can set up a monthly or annual donation. The amount is automatically debited from your account and can be cancelled at any time.
What about legacies or larger gifts?
For larger amounts or testamentary arrangements, please contact us directly. We will discuss your wishes personally and provide the necessary documentation.
